True Foundation Sows
Our entire crossbred program traces back to 3 Foundation Sows; Okie Dokie, Tricksy, and Candy.  In the past 6 straight years we have had 10 “Wall Hangers” come from these 3 sows, their sons, and daughters.  That consistency is proof of their value and status as true Foundation Sows.  We have between 10 and 20 litters each spring.  While that keeps us busy, it is really small compared to some of the “big boys” in the business.  However, we challenge you to compare the results.  We only offer 30 to 50 barrows each spring, and we are accomplishing what some that sell hundreds only dream about.

 

We have taken this same philosophy in starting our purebred lines.  We have added Hamp, Duroc, and York Foundation Females to build around.  Check out our Breeding Stock page for details.

 

“Wall Hangers”
We are very proud of our customers accomplishments at the jackpot shows xand county fairs.  While we love to compete at all levels, we base our success each year on how we do at the state fairs.  Even then, our mission is to do better than a class winner.  We have been very fortunate over the past 6 straight years to produce many Division champions or better at Indiana, Missouri, and Colorado State Fairs.  These winners we call “Wall Hangers”. 

 

“March to the Coliseum”
This spring we will be again offering our best in the March to the Coliseum sale at the Boone County fairgrounds in Lebanon, IN on Saturday, March 17th at 7:00 pm.  We will not offer any January farrowed pigs before this sale.  Come get your very own “Wall Hanger”!
